Communications Volunteer
Duration: Minimum 4 Months
Eligibility requirements:
To apply for the volunteer programme, applicants must be:
A currently-enrolled graduate or post-graduate student in a field related to WFP’s interests. Applicants must be enrolled during the full duration of the proposed volunteer period.
Have a demonstrated interest in the field of Media, International Relations and Public Affairs, particularly in areas of WFP’s priorities. Performance in communications, especially in social media and translations skills should be considered with priority.
Chinese national. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Translate given news and documents in a timely manner;
2. Assist in WFP social media content development in Chinese;
3. Assist in proofreading website contents;
4. Assist in a series of WFP’s promotional activities;
5. Assist in WFP China publications by helping with the translation and distribution;
6. Assist in editing video;
7. Perform other related duties as required.
